Un terremoto de magnitud 6,8 en la escala de Richter sacudió hoy California, informó el Centro Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS).

Por el momento no ha habido informes de que el sismo haya causado víctimas o daños materiales.

El temblor ocurrió a las 14.49 GMT, su hipocentro se localizó a 12,1 kilómetros de profundidad y su epicentro a 160 kilómetros al oeste de la localidad costera de Ferndale, añadió el USGS, sin aportar más detalles.
